Would you like to go to the seaside...

I’ve definitely mentioned Aldeburgh a fair few times to you guys as it is one of my favourite coastal towns in  the UK. I always recommend it to people who haven’t visited as in my opinion they have the best fish and chip shop in Britain.

Kirsty got in touch with me on instagram when she knew she was going to be down in London for a few days. Her uni was exhibiting their degree show as part of the incredible Free Range exhibit on at the Old Truman Brewery.

Regency Cafe

Good afternoon from a rather grey London, looking back to sunnier days when Meredith was in town and the four of us visited one of our favourite old school cafes, 'Regency Cafe' possibly the best fry up in the city.

Night Market

Last week Ollie and I headed to Kensington Gardens for the inaugural Night Market, part of the Evening Standard's London Food Month. Full of independent food stalls along with a variety of bars, some specialising in cocktails and others just featuring cava and prosecco. Westfield as partners of the event had also put on a outdoor cinema at the event as well as having some of their own independent food and drinks vans.

Blogtacular 2017

Last Friday and Saturday I was shooting for Blogtacular. If you're not familiar with Blogtacular it is a conference set up by the lovely Kat Molesworth. It's a conference with a difference if you ask me, think creative, engaging and inspiring not the boring and mundane environment that comes to mind when the word conference is mentioned.

Exmouth Market Grind

Exmouth Market is an area of London I have passed countless times without knowing. I finally took an afternoon last week with Meredith to have an explore. A street full of incredible restaurants and boutique shops. I'll definitely be visiting again, there's so many nice restaurants to try!

Wishing for sunnier days

When going abroad it’s hard not to want to treat yourself. I’m always lured in by duty free and treating myself to something that I wouldn’t usually buy. Before hopping on the plane to Nice for a work trip I grabbed a new Jo Malone travel size perfume, ‘Peony and blush suede’ to be exact, which I love, along with Mac liptensity in ‘Smoked Almond’. You can never have too many nude shades right? They’re my absolute favourite at the moment.

Nice with La Redoute Pt.2

Welcome back to beautiful Nice, continuing on from my last post I couldn't not share the rest of the outfits we shot for the La Redoute look book in Nice. The weather was very kind to us after pouring all day and night the day we arrived. I may have even managed to catch a little bit of sun, huzzah! Not that any of that colour remains now, London where's the sunshine gone? It is May after all!

Nice with La Redoute

You may have seen from my instagram that I flew out to Nice with the wonderful team from La Redoute at the start of April, to shoot a Summer look book with the lovely Erica from The Edited, Lindsey from Ropes of Holland and Emily from Fashion Foie Gras. If we're not friends over on instagram, then why the hell not?! I tend to update my instagram more than any other social media platform and I’m also trying to update my stories on a more regular basis too giving you guys a little insight into the behind the scenes of what I’m up to/shooting. I'd love it if you’d drop me a message on instagram if you're a new follower from reading this post. It was a whistle stop trip that’s left me itching to book tickets back to Nice and France’s southern coast as soon as humanly possible, I absolutely loved it. Having never been to Nice before it was amazing to explore somewhere totally new to me and capture some incredible locations. Luckily our incredible videographer for the trip Josh knew Nice and the surrounding area rather well so he also acted as our tour guide for the trip. We shot the first few outfits for the look book in a small town just outside of Nice called Villefranche-sur-Mer which was insanely beautiful. Before driving into the port we stopped above the town and had an incredible viewpoint over Villefranche, it truly was breathtaking. I’m not sure I have ever seen the sea look quite as blue as that before, I was blown away by how beautiful it was. This post focuses on the first six looks we shot all around Villefranche-sur-Mer. There were so many beautiful streets and the location choices were truly endless. Much to our surprise we also had the opportunity to go out on a boat to shoot Lindsey’s second look and all three of the ladies. It was such an exciting experience, I’m even smiling writing this now thinking back to it. It was a Monday morning and all of us declared it was the best Monday we’d ever had. You can shop each of their looks over on La Redoute and also make sure you check out each of their blogs for links to their exact pieces. I’ll leave their blog links below.

Girl vs Cancer

Once in a while you read or get a piece of news that totally shocks you and you're actually speechless. The piece of news I'm referring to in this instance is when I found out that my friend Lauren from 'Girl Stole London' had been diagnosed with breast cancer, I couldn't believe it. Thirty years young and been given this life changing news I could hardly believe it was real.

Pizza East

You lovely lot know that if I find a good restaurant it's likely I'll tell you about it and suggest you book a table asap. But I can't believe I'd not yet mentioned this one, my go-to pizza fave; Pizza East. Whilst 'Pizza East' have a few branches across London now. I usually visit their Shoreditch branch which is the original location.
