Santorini Day One

Our trip to Santorini already feels like a dream! Looking back at the photos I can hardly believe I was standing right there shooting that incredibly beautiful island. I think the feeling of a past adventure instantly fills you with wanderlust and the desire to explore and see more! Whilst Isabella and I were in Santorini we both had a strong feeling it wouldn't be our last visit.
These photos were all shot on our first day walking from our hotel 'Aqua Luxury Suites' in Imerovigli and we hiked along the coastal pathway to Fira, the capital of Santorini. The walk there was a lot easier than the walk back as it was predominately down hill, but we could hardly complain as every turning brought us yet another breathtaking view. Lots of the shops and restaurants were closed as we were visiting out of season (peak season: June to September) but we could both tell how busy and bustling the cobbled streets would be in the summer months. We stopped by the main square and grabbed frozen yoghurt which we took to the cliff edge, sat down and enjoyed the view. Everywhere we looked there was another beautiful photo opportunity, so grab a cuppa and scroll on through.
