Vogue Fashion Night Out

Tuesday 23rd saw Vogue's Fashion Night Out descend upon the countries capital for a night of shopping, offers and of course fashion! The streets of Mayfair were alive with musicians playing in the streets as well as pop up food stalls. Emily & I headed to Ted Baker to grab waffles as well as a go on the prize tombola! 

Links of London created a hub of excitement as the incredible Miss Magpie Fashion Spy drew each of the guests lined up outside. I have been following Niki's work for over a year now, I absolutely love her style of drawing, so it was such a pleasure to meet her and to have her draw me with my camera was a complete bonus. I can only hope that I get to work with this lovely lady again in the future. 

Whilst having a browse in store we also met the very gorgeous Luna the miniature dachshund. We ended the evening in Monica Vinader sipping champagne and oogling over the gorgeous jewellery. They had an in store engraver delicately adding intricate personal details to shoppers beautiful purchases. 

Merc AW14 - Behind The Scenes - Pt2

Walk To A Different Beat - Merc AW14 season was inspired by British heritage and tradition but designed for modern living. We started day two focusing on Merc's Core fashion range; the classic three piece suits and of course the iconic Harrington. Mel Kyle provided her hair and make up expertise for the two day shoot. Styling the frontmen of the campaign Victoria Gregory. We ended the day focusing on Merc's W1 range; composed of stronger cuts for the style conscious man.

What a pleasure it was to work on this campaign and to work with an incredible team made it all the more memorable. A massive thank you to Merc for having me as production assistant and behind the scenes photographer. An a huge hand to Dean Chalkley and Simon Long for bringing their creative vision to life. Merc AW14 - Behind the Scenes - Pt1

Merc - Walk To A Different Beat. The AW14 collection saw Dean Chalkley and Simon Long collaborate together on bringing Merc's heritage to the forefront of menswear today.

The campaign was shot late last year, it was such a pleasure to be part of this campaign process with Merc. Working closely with Dean, Simon and Elena the project manager. Dean's recent exhibition at Somerset House, 'Return Of The Rudeboy' was a roaring success! I'm so chuffed to have worked with such an inspiration in photography as well as being able to shoot a gentleman usually on the other side of the lens.

Jim & Michael Webster are the campaigns frontmen, after being part of 'Baddies' they both brought a raw and electric atmosphere to the shoot. I am really excited to see my behind the scenes photos being used on Merc's website and their social media channels. Be sure to check back tomorrow for part two...
