What A Year... So Long 2014!

2014 you have been filled with some incredible highs and some lows, but my my my what a year it has been! I always focus on the positive so this post is to celebrate all of the amazing memories created this year. The low points have made me a stronger and better person, they say you learn from experience. Whether that experience be good or bad, I shall always try to use it to my advantage.

The memories I have made this year will be cherished for years to come. I have made new friends, travelled to new countries and became an Auntie for the first time.

I have been lucky enough to work with some very inspirational ladies and continue to collaborate with them on photo projects throughout the year. Olivia and I started the year with a magical editorial outside 'The Ritz'. Capturing her 21st Birthday; complete with metallic foil balloons. Finally when the Purvis's had a new member join the family, I was more than thrilled Olivia asked me over to capture little puppy Maggie getting up to mischief.

It was so lovely to work with Camilla from 'Into The Fold' for the first time. In the spring I shot Sarah from 'Framboise Fashion' and I am very much looking forward to working with her in the new year on projects with 'The Apartment'. Working with Dunya again this year was great fun.

Jazmine and I worked together throughout the year on events at the Cath Kidston's flagship store. It was such a treat to work with the brand and I throughly enjoyed getting to know the store team. The events were always a bundle of fun too. I am really looking forward to shooting some more photos with Jaz in the new year.

Remember this little guy; Bubba. We looked after this precious little bundle for just a few days. He was terribly cute and we got attached very quickly.

Emily and I went on the most terrific holiday on the coast of Greece. We made unforgettable memories and soaked up the sunshine too.

September LFW I spent the day snapping street style at Somerset House. Very much looking forward to next season.

Toni's Baby Shower in mid October. What a tremendous afternoon! The countdown to Little Long's arrival was well and truly on.

Dad and I volunteered at the Tower Of London planting poppies as part of the 'Blood Swept Lands and Seas Of Red' art installation. Remembering all of the fallen british soldiers from the first world war. See the full set of photos here.

Welcome to the world Little J! A day I will never forget. I am beyond excited to see what the next year will bring for him. All the new things James will learn, how much he will grow. Documenting this new chapter will be such a big privilege for me. Becoming an Auntie has truly been my favourite moment this year.

Cheers to the New Year! Thank you 2014 for everything you have thrown my way. Thank you to my incredible family and friends for all of your support this year. For encouraging me to pursue my dreams and for striving to be the best I can be. A massive thank you to each and every one of you who stop by and read my blog, it means such a great deal to me. I am hoping that my little piece of the internet will continue to grow next year and that you'll be along for the journey too. I'm ready for you 2015, lets make it the best year yet!

Christmas Cheer!

Christmas Eve spent with family, wrapping the last of my presents and indulging in mince pies and mulled cider. All accompanied with a very festive playlist which included 'Nat King Cole', 'Frank Sinatra' and 'Slade'.

Christmas Day the whole family were over, its such a special time of year that I am always so grateful to spend the time with the people I love and care about so dearly, sorry for the cheese but I just can't help it at this time of year. We've all had such an eventful 2014 it was lovely to have the day all together. We were all very chuffed to have Little J to cuddle and coo over too.

Boxing Day morning entertaining little man, which is my new favourite past time. He's starting to smile now and it is such a precious smile. He loved wriggling around with all of us talking to him. An he seemed to love his new little bear the cutest thing I have seen and so well made too. You must give Chloe North's work a look and I think I shall be buying a few more pieces too, there just to cute to resist. That evening we continued the celebrations with friends and sang into the wee hours.
Hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas, I'd love to know what you've got up to.
